I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the picture. It has such depth, clarity and color definition! The TV is light in weight so it was easy to set up. And, connecting the TV to other components was easy. I would definitely buy it again!

Already having screen issues, less than a year old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my little old mother, 71 years old. She tells me that there's something going on with the screen so I naturally assume that maybe there's just some option that she accidentally changed. But she has me watch for a few moments then the screen flashes to black for a second then works again. It does this every few minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv just about two years ago (I'm not sure why I've waited until just now to write a review here, although I did review it on Amazon) and it's been great since day one. I chiefly use this tv for gaming on my current gen consoles, so that's where my opinion is coming from. I love the design of the unit, with the slim silver bezel and the two "feet" rather than a central stand. It looks great in my living room. I know most people are used to a black bezel, and many may be apprehensive about the silver in pictures or initially in person, but I think it looks sleek and modern, and it's never distracted me from the content on display. The picture is great: 1080p content is smooth and clear as you'd expect. Motion is clear with little blur when watching high frame-rate action (too bad current-gen doesn't support 60fps gaming, sigh). For an LED panel the contrast is great, with some of the deepest and most even blacks I've seen in any comparative display. Of course, the blacks aren't perfect or inky because this isn't a plasma or an OLED (of which LG makes some amazing models, but they're a bit out of my price range as of now). Te real high point of the picture itself, though, is the color. It has great color reproduction, it's LED bright without oversaturating colors or washing light scenes out, and the reds and blues especially are breathtakingly deep and saturated. LOVE the colors this display puts out. The sound is alright, it's clear and gets pretty loud. Most of the time I use external speakers, so I haven't spent too much time listening to the internal speakers, but TV speakers in general aren't the best, especially for watching movies and gaming The only gripes I have with this TV really have to do with I/O. There are only two HDMI inputs, which is pretty lacking. As well, the speakers I use have an aux (headphone) connector, and there is no aux output for sound in this TV, only an optical out, so I had to buy an adapter to be able to use them. It's not too big of a deal, but I'd ideally like to be able to plug my speakers right into the TV without extra hassle. Overall, I love this TV. It's been going strong and treating me well for the past two years, and I'm sure it'll last much longer. LG makes awesome displays, and I plan on buying my next from them, and the one after, and the one after that!
Pros: Style/Design, Performance, Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm glad I bought this tv -- you do have to work with it some to get picture settings way you like them -- and not much 4K content yet -- especially from directv

product a little bit blurry

this product looks amazing on or off, the price is also ok, however you really have to find your own settings to find the right colors and tint to really bring out the best of this tv has to offer, 2 hdmi's are not really that helpful especially if you really have to connect your satellite tv, ps3 and blu ray players, it has to be at least 3 hdmi's on the minimum and besides you still pay a lot for this tv. as i mentioned this tv is somewhat of a blurry to watch especially if it is not on hd channel.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

This TV is a good value. The box says it is a smart TV, but it isn't. It is still a good value and has a fantastic picture.
