Old Tech Junk

Thought I was getting a great buy on this unit. NO THE CASE. The unit is really old and incompatible with most new technology. Not even on LG website as US unit. The so called "SimpLink" only allows on/off control, no other features work at all, nor are there any workarounds. The unit has only two HDMI inputs, one stopped working after 4 months. Do not buy LG televisions, they do not play well with other equipment or technology.
Pros: Style/Design, Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While it lasted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was installed in our fifth wheel when we bought it and after 60,000 miles in the trailer it gave up the ghost and started flickering and can't get it back. Sound and picture are there, but unwatchable; audio is fine. It was a solid TV while it lasted.
Pros: Performance, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its a good TV so far

We like the Tv so far. The only problem is with the picture size. We keep it on 4.3 most of the time but it diminishes the size of the picture. We DO NOT like the recommended 16.9 picture, as it widens out everything way too much. We keep it on Zoom for sports events esp. football, but we can't see the stats at the top of the screen Not all networks are the same so we get varying screens. I would rate this TV a 4 and half stars.
Pros: easy to use, Quality

TV has crapped out already

Purchased back in Jan 2016. Worked fine till end of last week, when it's ability to display video in anything above 480i went out. Not much fun to have spent $650 and now have essentially a large-video monitor from 10 years ago. Won't buy another LG product...ever.

The only problem I see with the tv is the screen reflects outside light a little too much . We just keep the blinds closed during the day .
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wasn't my first choice on TV's but I'm glad I bought it. Outstanding picture quality. I'm going to get a 4K next until they come out with 8K programming. I'm staying with LG.
Pros: Performance, Quality, easy to use
