We've had this printer and copier for about six weeks now, and all is well. We've had some difficulty setting the lightness/darkness of copies, but the scanner is a great improvement over what we had earlier. Still trying to figure out some of the other settings - especially for multiple settings, but we are satisfied with this product.

A perfect home office machine

I researched a lot of multi-function machines before buying this one. Brother definitely hit a home run on this machine. A huge testament to their competent engineers and research department. It has all the attributes I was looking for in a machine: copy, scan, print, fax with duplexer and an 8 1/2 x 14" glass. Reason for wanting a larger glass area is when my kids need to lay a text book down to copy, we can usually get both pages on one piece of paper. Not true with a letter sized glass area. Setup was easy when I followed the steps in their guide. It prints fast and goes to sleep promptly so it's not noisy. This is one purchase I highly recommend. I will definitely buy a Brother again.

Nice Upgrade for Us

After reading reviews, decided to switch from an avid Samsung user to this Brother All In One for our business. This was a perfect upgrade in speed and features for our small office and I definitely like the Brother over the previous Samsungs we have used. I have only one concern in that when copying or printing you can hear a revolution / roller type noise which seems to just be normal noise and it doesn't impede it's functionality. I have the two year warranty on the machine so I am covered if it ends up it's not supposed to sound like that.

An all-around workhorse

I bought this machine and an extra tray for legal size paper for my notary business. Set-up was easy and the machine interfaces with my PC easily. I've been using all functions for a month now: fax, scan, copy, print. It fulfills my needs efficiently and reliably. I've had no jamming. It's a perfect all-around machine for a small office.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My 4th MFC

This is a great machine, quite,and fast, this is my 4th Brother MFC in this size. They are work horse machines, eventually you just wear them out and have to replace
