Love it!

I replaced an older model of this printer that I really loved. I love this machine even more. The setup was easy, and the printing is very clean and fast. It's the workhorse that everybody needs, even if they don't know it! Thanks for your quality products!

The speed is great for this little work horse and the network access makes it great as a shared resource. The easy access front door lets us print those rush job Checks and a few other specialty forms. The toner lasts a reasonable time and this is the second one we've put into accounting. The duplexing saves on paper. Wish it had a scanner built in to the space saving size.

The Brother HL-5450DN Network Laser Printer has performed flawlessly from the moment I opened the box and plugged it into my network.
It is quiet, fast, and produces excellent quality output. I have no complaint about it whatsoever, and would recommend it without reservation to a friend.

good printer

The 5450 replaced another Brother printer that lasted for over 6 years of heavy office use. The 5450DN is a bit faster than the old one but seems to be just as durable and printing costs are low, so far it seems to be a great printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Personal / Small Business Laser

I bought this laser because of its price and features. I was replacing another brand that became unreliable. The front panel is very well laided out and intuitive. The speed is more than I will ever need (faster than my other one). The AirPrint feature is nice especially since there is no wireless on this printer - it just seems that way - nicely done!
The only down side, and not unigue to this brand, is the cost of consummables. The toner cartridge will cost as much as the printer price - not unusual, I know.

All in all, I would recommend this printer. It has proven VERY reliable to date.

A Printer That Disappoints

This printer has done nothing but disappoint. If I were Brother I'd apologize for producing such a poor product.
