Solid, fast and good buy

These attributes are all that need to be said unless you are looking for a high-end, graphics intensive capability for professional distribution. Even then, this machine satisfies my occassional need for complex mono graphics. I have always had brother lasers since the HL4, and will continue to depend on this maker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Laser Printer

I bought this printer to replace an earlier Brother model where the print engine was reaching the end of like. Brother printers integrate well into my network, and the new one is faster and has front and back page printing. The printer worked perfectly out-of-the-box and serves my needs well. The size fits my space and printing is quiet. Good job.

Good unit but not wireless

The HL-5450DN has been a good and dependable printer. My only disappointment is that it is not wireless (???) and when I bought it I thought I was buying a wireless printer.....my mistake.

Fantastic Printer

This printer is great. Super fast for a duplex printer. It has to be plugged into a router, however for my husband this was worth the hassle for the extra speed. Also- customer service at Brother was super helpful when it came time to choose a printer model, I highly recommend giving them a call if you're stuck in your decision process.

I needed this exact model to work with a specific software program, and it works quite well. The software installation was not difficult. If I have a complaint, it's that compared to my previous Brother laser printer, this one is much louder, and some of the components feel a bit flimsy. But the price was good, and it works, so I'm satisfied.
