Great Printer But It Likes to Sleep

So far, it has been an economical printer in terms of initial cost and toner use. Only problem I am encountering is that sometimes a print job is sent to it and it remains asleep. Then you get a document failed to print error message and check the status to see that it is in sleep mode. Delete print jobs, turn printer off and on, then resend and it works fine. So far, have not had the time to troubleshoot whether it is operating system or the printer

Sturdy and Reliable

Bulky but sturdy, draws power but reliable. Since recent online update have had problems so have to reinstall drivers. But the pages spit out in rapid and reliable succession. Front feeder a bit unwieldy but works ok. Paper is kept inside machine so dust is not a problem. Brother replacement cartridges are very reasonable so I recommend the brand. We have two other Brother products, all reliable. We previously had another product that lasted years.

Excellent fast printer in it's class. Only drawback thus far is a nation wide backorder on toner cartriges

I own a small business and use this printer at my point of sale. This unit has great response and print times. Most documents printed are in the 300 dpi mode and the quality of the print is good

Had my brother several years and absolutely zero problems, paper jams or complaints. Gets great mileage out of cartridges and neither the printer nor the cartridges costs an arm or leg to buy.
Sure beats others I've owned.

The product claims that it was designed for a high volume environment; but nothing could be further from the truth!
The first one that we purchased caught fire the first week we had it.
The TN-750 high yield cartridge barely gets half of the projected volume for printed documents.
Overall; I give the products a 1.5 out of 5 rating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
