This backpack is pretty awesome. We bought it for my 8 year old to start 3rd grade with. It's very light, colors are beautiful and is very good quality. We definitely won't have to buy another backpack for a while. Also, you can't beat the price!

You get what yo pay for- an average book backpack

This is an average book bag/backpack. It has lighter-duty coil zippers rather the beefier tooth zippers of the older High Sierra backpacks; coil zippers are always the first failure point, so I know this will not last so well. The zipper pulls are looped in rather than permanently attached, so they will gradually get lost. And its sleeve is tablet-sized rather than laptop-sized. On the up-side, it is well designed with 4 zipper pockets (2 large, 2 smaller) and constructed. You get what you pay for.

I love High Sierra products mainly because of their durability. They hold up well to pressure from lots of heavy books without showing much sign of wear. Only the colours may slightly fade after years of usage. Zippers are excellent. Only time can tell the durability of the fat boy bag. It thought it would be larger but it still holds a lot of things and I love the number of pocket. I didn't really like the flap that covers the zipper but it can easily be flipped over to get it out of the way. I love the customer service and support. Thank you High Sierra!!

The bag is made of flimsy material, impossible to keep tablet in the thin sleeve. Surprised by the low quality, High Sierra used to be so good!

I was very pleased with this product, and I knew I would be. I had ordered for High Sierra before, for my freshman year in high school, and I was surprised by the quality of the bag. Not only was it sturdy, but it was also comfortable. Now with me being in college, I knew I had to get a bag from here. There is heavier things I have to carry, and I have to walk across campus, with ten minutes in between classes. It's easy to slip my material into, my laptop, my tablet, and then I can quickly slip it into my back. It makes my walk a breeze, since the weight of my books don't kill me. I highly recommend this product, especially for students!!!
