It trims smoothly, handles sensitive areas without a problem, and even comes with an attachment that makes reaching my back easy. The whole process is quick, comfortable, and leaves me looking sharp instead of shaggy. Battery life is solid, it’s waterproof for easy cleaning, and the design feels durable. If you’re tired of wrestling with unruly body hair, this is the tool that takes you from wild to well groomed in no time. It is very easy to use and you can switch between heads easily. I really like this shaver. Cuts great, it's relatively quiet, and rather than switching between different blade guards, the adjustable feature makes it easy to 'change guards'. Recharging is a bit cumbersome. What surprised me was the recommendation not to use it on the face or scalp. There was no reason for this recommendation and no apparent quality that render it dangerous to do so. Keeping that in mind, if you want one groomer to do both body, face, and scalp, I guess you need two groomers. Seems a waste of money to me. I use this one on my face/beard and it works fine.

Battery life is very poor

I've bought four of these over many years. The waste is shameful. Battery stops charging after about a year and then you are forced to toss the thing since you can't replace the battery. Shaver itself works acceptably when it is charged. Good design, bad peformance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great body trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I want to clear something up right away. This will not replace your razor for your face. But this body trimmer does just that. It trims your arm pit hair, and even down there. The shaver end should be used for finer hair. The trimmer end works better for thicker coarse hairs. You get the gist. Don’t use the shaver end for coarse hair or it will pull. I love the ease of use, and how fast it charges. It’s a bonus that it works in the shower, though won’t trim as well when hair is wet.
Pros: easy to use, easy to clean, 1 hr charge, cordless, rechargeable
Cons: shaver can pull hair if too thick

Overall, I am very pleased with the Norelco Bodygroom 7100. It took a little while to figure out how best to use the product but I re-read the provided brochure and watched some Youtube videos on it's use. I took it slow trying to master how to trim and shave certain body areas and it has paid off. Gradually, I think I've mastered how best to use it for the desired effect on chest, underarms and "below the belt." Stick with it. Despite it's name/claim of being showerproof, I hesitated to use in the shower at first. Now, it's a breeze (it really is showerproof)! Read how to clean the product too and when to replace the foil. I'm hoping it'll be a tool I can use for a long time. Thanks Norelco.
Pros: it works, it is showerproof, the written directions are helpful
Cons: it takes persistence at first to figure out, images on the directions too small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The philips norelco is a good body groomer. I use it often and it definitely provides a close shave. It's very simple to use and I like the different size clips for a closer shave. One of the nicest features I like about this shaver is the extension bracket. Once used, it allows to be able to shave the back without much hassles and provides additional flexibility. The handle is made very well with a nice grip groove. The shaver is also able to be used in the shower which is always a great feature. I really like the long lasting battery and the quick recharge. The shaver is very durable and easy to handle and great for most areas of the body and easily contours to the body. Great quality product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to try out the new Phillips Norelco bodygroom 3500 and I was very impressed. I'm not a big fan sometimes of electric shavers but this one changed my mind. The unit shaves smoothly and it doesn't pull the longer hair like others I have tried. It charges rather quickly and I was surprised at the one hour run time that it has. It also came with three trimming gaurds of different lengths that came in very handy and fit perfectly. I will definitely be using this on a weekly basis.
