Great for grooming

I received this product as a promotion to try it out. I like the wireless and waterproof features - but I wasn't in love with how the product cuts shorter hair. I found that it was a bit clunky and wasn't cleanly cutting my hair. I use another Phillips buzzer that gets a closer shave. If you are looking to reduce body hair, but not completely buzz it, this is a great product - but I wouldn't recommend it for buzzing.

A genius idea!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've have two Norelco body trimmers. They do an excellent job and are very well designed. This new Bodygroom 3500 takes body trimming to a whole new level. The genius of this trimmer is the Back Attachment! What a brilliant design. In the past I've always had to beg my wife to trim my back hair. The Back Attachment makes it so I can EASILY trim my entire back, comfortably, without a mirror and not miss a spot. In addition, the showerproof design allows me to shave my entire back in the shower with no hair to clean up. For those who haven't tried a Norelco Body Trimmer, it leaves the skin smooth with NO itching. It trims so closely the cleanup lasts for weeks. The addition of the back attachment makes this product a must and a real benefit for single guys.
Pros: back attachment is a genius design.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Philips Norelco BodyGroom 3500

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I received the free sample Norelco Bodygroom 3500 to review. This product does shave pretty well. It tends to slightly pull on longer hairs as it glides along your skin in the back area. One of the best features is the extended back reach attachment. It’s easy to assemble and adjustable for easy reach to shave. The product instructions were easily understandable. This product is easy to clean after use and does meet my quality expections. I don’t have any improvements suggestions and I would recommend this Norelco bodygroom to family and friends.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great value for money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm reviewing this as a previous user of the 7100 series - that's the model which has a clipper at one end and a shaver at the other, and costs significantly more than this 3500 series.
I love it! Simply, it does exactly what it needs to, and I don't lose the clipper functionality as it has an attachment that slides over the shaver.
I don't have any hairs on my back, so the extension attachment was wasted on me... but I did test it and it fits really securely - there's no way it was falling off/out and breaking.
I also like the fact that the charger plugs directly into the groomer - no having to sit it on a fancy stand, which also means I don't need to pack the stand if I'm going on holiday / vacation or long business trip.
As for battery life, I didn't test the exact minutes, but the 60 minutes run-time seems more than fair - I used it quite a few times for around 5 minutes a time.

A competent performance at this price point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a simple, straight-forward body groomer without too many "bells & whistles," this one will likely suffice. The three trim guards are probably appropriate for most uses, although I would personally prefer a closer option than is offered. It is very easy to charge and powers up rapidly. The battery life is sufficient and what you might expect. Unless you are particularly dexterous and used to manipulating devices behind your back, you will likely find the "extra long back attachment" to be virtually useless. The groomer is relatively easy to clean, although it can be a bit challenging to snap off the plastic trim guards: one of the three came off easily, the other two were quite a struggle. If you are particularly hirsute and looking for something to trim down the carpet to a more manageable level, this may work. If you are seeking more detailed levels of body grooming, this is not the choice for you.
Pros: charges easily, charges quickly, inexpensive
Cons: the back handle is useless, difficult to trim hair around curved surfaces

Simple, easy to use, comfortable shave

Great product. Simple and easy to use. Really glides smoothly and doesn't snag. I never have had to worry about cutting myself. Also helpful that this product is water resistant. Haven't encountered any issues yet despite getting wet on multiple occasions.

Battery issues

Great product, except for the batteries, It stopped holding a charge after a dozen or so uses. Now batteries last 10 minutes tops and the recharge light is flashing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
