I got this to replace the d one that cracked. This one is so much nicer than the old one - way more attractive and hasn’t cracked!!

EASY TO CLEAN

THIS COOKTOP IS VERY EASY TO CLEAN - UNLIKE THE STAINLESS STEEL ONE I REPLACED. ONLY MINUS IS THE BURNERS ARE HIGHER AND MY BACKDRAFT EXHAUST FAN PULLS THE FLAME TOWARDS THE FAN, WHICH RESULTS IN UNEVEN HEATING. FORTUNATELY, I DON'T USE THE BACKDRAFT FAN MUCH, SO IT'S REALLY NOT MUCH OF A PROBLEM. THE HIGH HEAT BURNER IS AWESOME.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good cooktop; could use some saftey improvements

This cooktop does the job well. Looks nice; easy to clean the glass top by wiping with vinegar and a soft cloth. The different sized burners give a 'range' of options for different sized pots and pans. The low setting is well suited for simmering. The power burner heats a big pot quickly.
Caveats: It takes practice to turn the knob to just the right spot to ignite the burner. If you're off a little, you can let natural gas escape into the room. The knob doesn't 'click' into place as it does with other brands. On the lowest setting, you can miss that you've left a burner on; there no indicator light by the knobs.

We love the cook top. Wish they had a slate no smug surface like refrigerator for easier clean up. But still awesome....
