Hyper Drift Done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a cool drone! My two youngest kids have loved flying the drone around the house. They have been able to catch on to it much faster then I have. Once you have mastered the controler it can be hours of fun for everyone. My husband even started playing with it after the kids went to bed. I think buying another one with be in the future soon. It does take batteries that you will need to buy separate but we tend to stock up on batteries so its not a big deal for us. Also dont forget to charge the drone each night or you will have a disappointed child in the morning when it dies after a few minutes of playing with it.

Kids love this drone!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a blast learning how to fly this!! It took a bit but once we got the hang of it it was loads of fun. We have high ceilings indoors and it really keeps the kids entertained and fighting over who gets to fly it next. We are going to have to buy another one it was so much fun. Loved getting to test this out for free. Love it!

Great for kids & adults!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review of the Airhogs Hyper Drift Drone. Upon opening the package, I couldn’t believe how small and light it was. I was imagining based on photos online that it was going to be bigger. So at first, I was a little disappointed. Upon reading the directions, we went to charge the drone for its’ first use. After a few hours, we realized it wasn’t charging. After checking the cables, I found that if I wiggled the plug that inserts into the drone, a red light would appear on the cable indicating that its charging. This still happens from time to time, which to me is no big deal. To others, they might think it’s broken. Also, this drone can only be used indoors.
After charging the airhog it was time to fly! This little unit is a BLAST to play with! It’s virtuously indestructible and it’s light enough so it doesn’t cause any damage to whatever it runs into. On a single charge, the drone will run about 10 minutes. To me, that’s a good amount of time considering how small the drone is and how small the battery must be. Thankfully it charges up quite quick. There is a REAL learning curve to get good at flying one of these but it’s a real blast. My 9 year old son is getting pretty good at controlling it as well.
What makes this drone special is the airboat attachment that you can use to zip around on floors! It works great on smooth floors and it controls just like you’d think a hovercraft would. It can get going a lot faster than I had imagined it would. I think my son almost prefers to use the drone in this configuration vs. without!
All in all, this is a great toy and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants to fly a drone – which can also turn into a hovercraft!

Awesome Drone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really cool drone! My son who is almost 11 and not impressed by much loved it. He like that it was fast to charge and easy to fly. All of his friends enjoyed it too. It seems to be able to withstand a bunch of tough boys. It is still flying after being worked a few weeks and looks good as new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drone was easy to set up and do the initial charge. My son got the Airhogs Hyper Drift Drone as a birthday present (even though I #gotitfree). His friends thought it was pretty sweet, but we decided to wait until after his party to set it up so it wouldn't get broken.
My son has played with it several times since receiving it, and enjoys playing with it. He has learned how to do a few tricks, too.
My son likes that you can play with it in two modes (drone and hovercraft), and wishes it lasted more than 15 minutes per charge.

Unfortunately, our dog hates it (not really a surprise). But he hasn't destroyed it yet!

2 in 1 drone is lots of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hyper Drift Drone was lots of fun for my 13 and 11 year olds. The drone has different difficulty settings, an easy and a more difficult, my kids have been playing in the easier mode and it is plenty of fun in that setting. The drone has a trick button, which makes the drone do cool flips. We took the drone outside and with a full battery it was flying as high as the trees. Once the drone starts to lose charge, it will not fly as high and was a perfect time to clip on the hover craft and let it float around on the floor. Fully charged it lasted less than 30 minutes but once charging, you can tell when it is fully charged because the charging light color changes. The protective cage is great. My kids ran the drone into all kinds of stuff and the cage kept the propellers from breaking. The cage also flips the drone over if you accidentally land it on its side.

High speed racing!

My son had no problem gaining the skill to fly and land the drone with ease. It flies long distances and races with speed on the ground. We really enjoyed the product and will definitely buy more Air Hogs products in the future!

Fun for the Whole Family - AirHogs Drone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family received the green 2-in-1 Hyper Drift Drone for High Speed Racing. This little drone is small, light and very fun! My children ages 15, 13 and 8 all found this drone to be very fun and pretty easy to handle. The attachment to make it speed around on the ground was easy to attach, easy to control and work well on a non-carpeted floor. Unattached, it flew well and could get up to about 20 feet. The drone did become harder to control as it got higher. Battery life lasted about 10 minutes but it charged fully quite quickly. All in all, I rate this drone a 4 out of 5. Everyone in the family - even I, a 42 year old mom, enjoyed flying it around as well as zooming it around on the ground. The 8 year old enjoyed it the most and found it extremely fun and easy to control, on the ground and in the air.
I would recommend this to a friend!
