[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year old thinks this looks really cool. He said it was easy to control and flew really high. He really liked the hover craft design. From my point of view as a parent, I liked that my son liked it so much and it was easy for him to control. I liked that it controlled better than other drones we've tried, and it went higher than he expected (nice surprise). I didn't like the fact that it only lasted around 15 minutes on a single charge. Lots of waiting for it to charge, and lots of build up of anticipation, only to be done in 15 minutes. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 full stars. Overall though, I would recommend this for the cool "kid approved" design and ease of controlling it for younger kids.

Awesome toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was so excited to get the Air Hogs 2-in-1 Hyper Drift Drone for High Speed Racing and Flying in his favorite color blue. I should of charged it before he saw it. He loves that it flys and races on the ground. He wants another one to play with his sister or a friend. He's almost 10 years old and it's hard to find toys he gets excited about. He played with this for a long time and really seemed to love it and it got him off the computer for awhile.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Airhogs did it again. What a great toy! I love that the mini drone comes away from hover base. Airhogs knows how to make toys that kids will understand. It is easy to use and control and not too frustaring for smaller kids.

Big Fun in a Small Drone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drone is amazingly easy to maneuver and extremely portable. Not only did it glide over the sidewalk, and fly through the air; we were amazed to see it glide over rain puddles. My 10 year said "This is the coolest drone ever!" We played with it for hours and were very sad to have to put it away for the night. The battery seems to hold strong for quite awhile and recharges very quickly making the time between uses short. I plan on purchasing a couple of these for gifts.

Surprisingly Fun for All Ages!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got my package my reaction was, "The box is empty." Then I removed the drone from the box and thought it felt cheap... but the second I added batteries, my whole opinion changed.
This little guy is quite sturdy. It easily changes from a hover craft to a drone. My kids just had to test it in the tub.
It works beautifully for beginners, like myself, and for the more advanced crew like my children. They range in age from 9 to 16. Each one of them loved racing the hover craft.
The hover craft worked well on multiple surfaces. Seamlessly transitioning from one to the next.
When converted to a drone, the craft is easy to steer. When I accidentally shut off the power to it, the drone fell, but was unharmed.
I had hoped to try a FPV drone, but after seeing how much fun the entire family was having, I'm glad I got a 2-in-1.
Now to buy ones for the rest of the family... I can see this will be the beginning of a fun tradition!

Big Fun Little Size

Not only can you race it across the floor, you can also fly it in the air for even more fun. My kids can't decide which way is cooler, but i personally love that it can fly as well as "race" around my house. I see an unlimited supply of batteries coming soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My two children are having a blast flying the Air Hog Green 2-in-1 Hyper Drift Drone. They say it's the best toy they. They prefer to use the drone in the sky rather than race along the floor with it. The enclosed self-righting cage is great because it protects the blades and they will not break when the drone crashes. It also keeps the drone upright at all times. The spare propellers are a plus in case they break, you have an extra set. The drone is really fast and can fly very high. The only complaint my children have is that the charger doesn't last that long. It's a great toy for older children. We would definitely buy it as a gift for a friend or another one for ourselves. Super fun toy!

Air Hogs Green 2-in-1 Hyper Drift Drone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Mom of two boys ages 9 and 11. I could barely get the box open before they were squealing with excitement about the Air Hogs Green 2-in-1 Hyper Drift Drone for High Speed Racing. It was very easy to open and put together. The one thing I was not prepared for was that it needed 2 AAA batteries (not included) or that it needed to be charged. That was our only let down with this toy. When you have two really excited boys, it is hard to contain that enthusiasm, especially when you don't have extra batteries in the house!!! We made a quick trip to the store to get the batteries because there was NO WAY they were waiting to let it charge via the USB plug. As a Mom, I was glad to see that it did have an alternate option to run besides batteries, because my kids can go through them rather quickly. So in the future, we will charge overnight. Once they got the batteries in, we were up and running! The hyper drift drone can either fly through the air like a drone does or go across the ground similar to an air boat (as it sort of reminds me of). My boys tried it both ways. It was really easy for them both to operate. They have tried drones as well as R/C aircraft before and I have to say this was the most successful experience they have had so far. They got this up in the air in no time. I heard lots of squealing and giggling coming from the backyard! In just a matter of a few minutes they had figured out all sorts of tricks to do with it. The worst part about the whole thing is I have two boys and we only had one toy! We will definitely have to go out and get a second one because there was so much fun happening and it was hard to share! It looks like it really would be a fragile toy, but after being used by my two rambunctious boys, it really held up! I would highly recommend this toy, not just for boys, but I'm sure any girl would love it too!
