Hyper Drift Drone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as it arrived in the mail my kids took it out of the packaging to try it out. They absolute love it, especially the racing part of it. It is very light weight so it races pretty fast on the ground and turns super fast. The drone part of it they haven't been able to get it to fly very high yet. It keeps a charge pretty well as they used it for about 45 minutes continually before it started to slow down and show any signs of needing to be charged. The only negative was the kids said they wished it had reverse for the racing part of it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's Alright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Per my 10 year old son, upon seeing it, he was excited. So the first impression was a big thumbs up! But after opening it, and adding the batteries to the remote, the instructions are a little hard to understand with what to do. If my son had to do this on his own, he would have hated it. The toy itself is very light in weight and almost looks fragile, as it's made of a thin plastic like an old Halloween mask. Once finally figuring out where to turn it on, it was hard to understand how to direct it using the remote. My husband joined in to help, and he was able to have better control, but then after it disconnected from he main piece it flew well. Not too high...but we're still figuring that out. Speed wise this thing is fast ( or so much on thicker carpet, but crazy quick on hardwood). If you have some experience with remote control toys then this should be no problem to maneuver, but if you're a novice, it will take time to be comfortable with it. My son was happy to watch but I he did say it'd be better if it was more easy to understand what to do. My husband liked it, but still gave the same rating due to the ease of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How to make a 10 years old's day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a great product. In fact, if I could I would give it 6 stars. Nothing but pure fun. I helped my son put this together this past Saturday. We had so much fun. Easy to operate and easy to switch between the high speed racer and the drone. My son absolutely loved this Air Hogs Hyper Drift Drone 2 in 1 toy in Blue. So versatile and easy to charge. It lasts a long time between charges. My son didn't even want to put this down at 11pm. We had to take it away from him. The best part, he can change it up whenever he wants. I don't have to be there. It allows him to change to whatever room he wants and whatever surface he likes. We tried tile floor, carpet and wood floor. All of them worked great. I would so gladly recommend this as a toy for anyone even girls and older children. It really is a great way to get the kids away from the TV and try something new. The color was cool and I was surprised at how powerful the drone was. Easy to operate (my son was a pro in a couple hours). I will be getting the Green color version for my other son's birthday in November. For the time being they will just have to share. Don't believe me, just look at the picture of my son getting back to it this morning (in his pajamas, no less).

Fast and furious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Blue 2 in 1 hyper drift drone out myself first and found out that I am not as good at these devices as kids are. I felt that the plug and on/off switch were so tiny, I had a hard time finding them even with the diagram. The drone was very lightweight and went super fast. It took off at a very fast rate and only after landing it in my neighbor's gutter, did I realize that I had it set to expert mode. My 9 year old tried the drift mode inside the house and he loved it! He screamed that it is so fun but didn't like that it wasn't able to go backward. Great time for us all!

Cool little drone and lots of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 9 years old and was so excited to play with this that he tore the package open and immediately tried it then plugged it in to charge. It didn't take long to charge and son I could hear the droning of it flying around his room. I was excited about the toy too because our last drone was large and hard to maneuver. He brought it out to the living room and gave me a quick lesson on the controls. I couldn't believe he had mastered the controls in such a short time - maybe 10 or 15 minutes! I'm a terrible flyer of this toy so it is a good thing the propellers are protected from breaking during crashes. The controls were tough for me as they are very sensitive but my son seemed to have no problems getting this to zip back and forth and up and down. It didn't seem like the battery lasts too long but he didn't seem to mind. Each time it is charged up I can hear it flying all over the house. He really seems to enjoy playing with it.

So much fun with this product!

Fun for All Ages!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must-have for kids of all ages! As soon as the kids (ages 10, 13 and 17 as well as the 39-year-old) got a hold of the Hyper Drift Drone it was on. Read the instructions people! Hubby thought it was plug in and go and couldn't figure out how to get it moving in the right direction. Our preferred way of using it is in the flying mode of course. High-speed racing can get very chaotic and they tend to crash often. Once you get the hang of steering, it is a lot of fun and we can't get enough of it. It does require AAA batteries that are not included. We used rechargeables and they work great! I highly recommend this to anyone with kids or even adults that love remote control vehicles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves this toy! My 8 year old son and husband are the primary users, and they had plenty to say! It is super light and super fast. Goes both on the ground and through the air. All the neighborhood kids were in awe, and they all wanted a turn! The drone has survived several rough crash landings, in which previous remote-controlled devices we have owned would have broken. Plus, it comes with extra propellers, which is a nice feature. It charges quickly, which is great for kids that don't want to wait. Overall, we love it!
