So Far, So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer/dryer combo about three months ago. When it first came out of the box, it did not work at all. I was so disappointed. However, an LG repair person came quickly after I called the hotline to explain the problem. Apparently it was a defective computer board. These machines, like all appliances these days, are heavily dependent on computer technology. After the Board was replaced, it functioned properly. Sometimes, the Sidekick would not work so I would have to unplug and "reboot" the system. I agree with all of the previous comments. Cleaning the lint trap is a pain, and must be done every week or two, depending on the amount of usage. Cleaning it frequently is especially important if you use Bounce dryer sheets, which tends to end up in the trap. If this machine can last for another 3 years without any further problems, I would be greatly satisfied.

Great washer with almost zero customizations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to love this washer and dryer but for the life of me I can not understand why 90% of the setting either do wash or dry but not both. What sense does it make to combine the units and not combine the cycles. Second you can not customize a cycle and save it. It is my washer, why does Lg think they know what settings I want. The app also shows energy usage but is useless as it has no legend to know how much it is using and all you can do is compare between days. Lg let me build and download my own cycles. Also if you buy the unit be prepared to by hammer devices for you hot and cold lines as it will rattle your pipes. Still the unot is good and it does the job with little to no mess.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Approaching Perfection

Primary flaws encountered:
- Time estimates are not so accurate
- Sometimes clothes only ~80% dry and need an extra 30-60 minutes to finish, depending on load and density
- Draining the lint trap is a hassle without the extra add-on to boost the height up a bit
- Drain pump failed and needed replacing right after warranty expired

- Only 2in1 with a heat pump dryer I could find in the US
- Great features
- Plugs into a regular wall outlet!
- Great customer support, they replaced the broke down pump and got it working again for free still!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am completely satisfied with the LG Signature Washer/Dryer Combo's ability to wash and dry my clothes. Unfortunately, none of the smart features work! I have been on the phone with some fantastic representatives that state this is a known issue without resolution. If it were a known issue, I would not have purchased this item. I I could have purchased a normal washer dryer combo for $2,000 less!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It takes 7.5 hours to wash/dry small load of clothes which normally takes 1.5 hrs to wash and dry using other washer/dyer.
