It just doesn't meet my expectations

I've had this oven for six months and it's time to give some feedback. First, I have no problem with the heating, cooking, baking, convection features. None, it works as well as any other range in this category. The features I have a problem with are minor but these affect me daily. First, of all the things that bother me, are the knobs. yes, the knobs. The single/double/triple and LO/HI indicators on the knobs, both color and font size, should contrast not blend, with the knob color. I admit my eyes have gotten worse in recent years, but, even with my glasses on, I find it difficult to determine which setting I am using: WP could have done a better job of making the print bolder and/or adding color for functionality instead of aesthetics. Second, the WIFI drops too easily (so much so, that I stopped using the function). And, when it does drop, you have to reset it- there is no memory stored, no battery back up. An inconvenience, but, if I am away from home, have everything planned ahead, food in the oven, and expecting to turn on or monitor progress using the app, I lose that ability if my wifi drops. Third, the touch screen can be too sensitive (I'm not sure how you can make it less sensitive, but, the feature requires a learning curve). For instance, if I have the oven on and my stove top is dirty (maybe the marinara splattered some sauce on the touch pad) and I wipe it clean, I can inadvertently and unknowingly turn off my oven. Even worse, if my wife comes by and wipes it clean, she won't realize she just turned-off the oven (yup, happened once, but not to much detriment). Again, you work around these nuisances, but, nonetheless, they are nuisances and I would have purchased another range had I paid closer attention to these details. Otherwise, the range works well. Burners burn, oven roasts/convects/broils and with four burners plus a warming zone, there is no shortage of space for pots. And, with the coordinating slim line OTR microwave, it's a very attractive set up. I'd still have trouble recommending it and would highly suggest shoppers to shop around or at least be aware of what I've experienced.

Not Happy!!!

Haven’t even had this stove for one month, but sincerely regret purchasing this model. The control knobs are difficult to read. I was told by my retailer that it was my lighting, but I see many others have lodged same complaint. The control panel is driving me CRAZY!!! It goes off at the slightest touch and has to be turned on again. Cooktop is difficult to keep clean. I only wish this stove had been out of stock when I ordered it. Paid $1,400 for it. Looks good, but the design is flawed. So disappointed with this purchase. Should be able to return it for a different stove!!! DO NOT BUY THIS STOVE!!!

Both good and bad features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven has good and bad features. The good is that is bakes food very evenly. I use the confection all the time. I am an avid baker. I have not used the air fryer yet. The cook top works as would be expected. I love the instant heat. It also is a very nice looking appliance. Once we installed it the broiler was not working. The repair went very easily and was fixed in one day. A code had been tripped and the repairman needed to reset the code. Now for the bad and for me this is a deal breaker. Had I know this ahead of time, I would not have bought this range. The Aqualift cleaning system is a joke. It does not work on oil or any splashing on the glass, side and top. I am 61 years old and for the first time in over 30 years am getting on my hands and knees to clean and scrub by hand. Upon researching after purchase, I quickly found that this is an ongoing problem with this system. I also have had a great deal of problems getting the smart features to work with Alexa. I spent days searching the internet to see why it wasn't working and finally found a site that gave me commands that appear to work most of the time. The biggest thing is that you have to command Alexa to "tell whirlpool" without this command at the front of your command, nothing works. Also, once the oven is on, you cannot change the temp without turning it off and back on to the new temp. I know this is a lot of information but with the price point as high as it is for this range, I just wish I would have know some of these issues ahead of time and hopefully this will help someone in making their decision .

Not up to the expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit a month ago. I rated poor for ease of use and performance. The LCD screen doesn't The prints on the control knob are not very legible, big or bright print and makes it more worse since it's hidden below the LCD Console surface. The middle burner meant for only 'warm' is a absolute waste. I wish there was one big burner at the rear. LCD screen malfunctions, the screen freezes quite often and I cannot turn on the oven. Also, to turn off the oven, there isn't proper indication that the oven is turned off. Also the timer alarm is very inaudible. The surface on LCD console and the stove top is very hard to clean.

love the digital keypad and all the options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love all the options the touch panel and the assisted cooking is super. Also very happy with the aqualift cleaning technology. Buyers need to be familiar with keypad and computer or iPhone use to feel comfortable with the stoves features.
