Looks good but front burner quit after 50ish uses.

Looks great.. but touch screen doesn’t work the best and the Lock Screen is needed all the time or you will easily turn off the oven without noticing. Also my double burner stopped working mid cook after about 50 uses…

Good but needed more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago, and it is a good upgrade to what I had from GE. What I do not like about it are two things. 1. The knobs controlling the burners do not have enough markings on them to show you what level you are trying to heat to. 2. There was no paper copy of a user handbook included.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good product, but needs some additional work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it two month ago. Works as expected, but I was also expecting it to have good features that the regular stove does not have, but it was disappointing. 1) The only use for wifi is that you can remotely turn it on and off. 2) When the timer for finished cooking goes off it is very quiet, it gives you one beep and that's it, so you cannot hear it from the other room. I had to buy a separate timer so my food does not burn. It also gives you a notification on your phone (if you have an app installed), but not everyone carries their phone around the house all the time. 3) It has different cooking features and suggestions (i.e. chicken, beef, baking, etc), but it only gives you suggestions on cooking temperature, so not very useful. 4) the knobs on the front are a bit difficult to read, but you can get used to it. 5) touch screen is very sensitive, so any time you wipe it turns on and off. I also turns off when the sleeve or towel lightly touches it, so have to keep an eye if oven is still on.

REPEAT- Safety issue with stove top knobs!!
on October 29, 2024

from Nova Scotia
Slide in electric range has been a headache with a major safety concern identified within 3 months of purchase. The paint on the control knobs for the stove elements have totally faded out and unreadable as to what heating element is being used. You have to guess or move a hot pot or water of other off the element to find out what heating ring is being used. This safety issue has been reported repeatedly on many consumer W/P sites and whirlpool has ignored my concerns other than offering another faulty and defective set of control knobs. Please deal with these defective knobs asap and have engineering redesign the knobs so the readings are engraved as past ranges have been that I have owned.

Fired

I have the model before this one identical style, except for the dials, and the handles which are more squared, which I Prefer. The writing is constantly coming off the knobs, such an easy thing to fix. Whoever makes the decisions at Whirlpool needs to be fired.

Multiple issues and long service times.

I bought a whirlpool stove about 18 months ago. It came with a one year warranty. A few months after we bought it the motherboard started having trouble and we couldn't use our oven. They serviced it about two months later. They extended our warranty by six months. Now, less than 2 months after our warranty expired, the oven will not start for what appears to be a different reason. Do not buy whirlpool or you may regret it. You're rolling the dice with your money. Good luck.
