NO SELF CLEANING OVEN AS ADVERTISED

Do not buy this product. Advertises it has a self cleaning oven when it does not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice mid priced electric range with minor issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electric range has very nice features for a mid priced unit, but the initial setup had to be done by us since the builder installed it prior to purchase. As per most wi-fi connected appliances these days, an app and setup is required to use all the extra features, which can be frustrating, and takes some time and patience.
The front facing knobs can be difficult to read and the electronic keypad a little confusing at first, but overall the range cooks and bakes well. The air fry feature is a plus for this model as well. Overall, very satisfied with the range so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fire Hazard Do Not Recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fire Hazard. We purchased and were told that the control lock would prevent accidental elements turning on. Awoke during the night to discover that the element was on and had been for over 7 hours. Incredibly dangerous. This needs to be reported to the right people. The control lock does not prevent the elements from being accidently turned on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice looking unit with a few glitches

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking unit. It does what it needs to do. Have not yet tried the steam cleaning feature. Three irritants:
1. The dual element knob is loose and pulls off, Shimmed it with a piece of wire. Hope that works. Replacement knobs are expensive.
2. The knobs (i.e., temp and burner info) are hard to read because the text is in fine black lettering on a highly reflective brushed nickel finish.
3. The touch screen is extremely sensitive so it often has to be reset.
I like Whirlpool (we have a Whirlpool fridge and microwave, but might have preferred a different model of range.

It’s ok.

The top does scratch easily and doesn’t clean well, the knobs to turn on the stove top, it’s hard to read the labels so flush and dark. I wish Whirpool would’ve illuminate the backdrop like the refrigerator water dispenser because you have the option to turn the backdrop light on or off.
