Great range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this range because I wanted the controls in front and wanted more range top space. Have an overhead microwave installed above it and this model provides the look and use I was looking for. My older Whirlpool appliances have been outstanding quality and dependable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this model for certain features. They work well. I did not expect uneven heating in both the oven and the range. To avoid uneven cooking in both areas, it is necessary for me to constantly rotate the poistion of pans on the range and cooking implements in the oven, which is an inconvenience.

Aqualift does NOT clean the oven. I never plan to own another with this feature only.
Finish wearing off top of range in front- less than 2 years old.
Timer causes temp to shut off. This will be my first and last Whirlpool range.

Burners do not glow

Upon cooking on stove top the burners do not glow at all. Whirlpool said this is normal on this model. I wouldn't have bought this. This is a safety issue that Whirlpool has caused for my 80 year old mother. We asked a lot of questions. Who would have thought to ask about do the burners glow. They say look at the indicator light on the front of the stove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my new range and all the features it has. Love the warming burner in the middle. My only complaint is that the knobs for the burners on the front of the range are in the way of a drawer under my counter and I can only open it a few inches. I have to remove the knobs and open the oven door in order to get my drawer open properly. My old range had the knobs on the top and didn’t interfere with my cabinet drawer. I just didn’t realize it would be a problem until I got it home.
