Backless Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Stove and it’s a regular and convection stove. My cakes never looked so good and cooked so evenly. Easy to program and looks wonderful in my kitchen. A great addition and would buy it again. Thank you WHIRLPOOL, my wife couldn’t be happier! Love this backless look and you can lock your oven from the front panel . Thank you, Whirlpool, we couldn’t be more satisfied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the slide-in range for a week now, and am happy with how it is performing. I like the full glass covering the control panel instead of stainless steel so it does not scratch. Heats quickly and electronic controls are intuitive, so easy to use. 4 stars given because would have loved to have a rack that glides out instead of just your standard oven racks that it comes with.

Sleek looking slide in range

There is a design issue that Whirlpool should correct in future designs:
the lights for the hot cook-top and the oven light on should be on the panel on the top of the cook top and not along the front where they are not readily seen.. I have repeatedly inadvertently turned on the oven light and not realized I had done so and on one occasion I went to bed with the warming ring still on. A red warning light along the panel on the cook-top would have alerted me.

The bottom drawer is no longer deep enough to be useful as the oven has a deep well in its bottom that uses space that would have been in the bottom drawer. I am disappointed in that as I cannot keep my cast iron skillets in there -- my skillet have always been stored in the bottom drawer of my previous range.

oven great but the cooktop is a pain

built a new house so we bought the whole set (frig/dishwasher/stove) Im not a fan of this cooktop. Two reasons - 1. it is way harder to clean than the other glass tops i have used 2. its hard to keep something at a consistent temp due to the fact that the coils heat up and then go off I wished they could just stay on to the medium temperature the entire time I am cooking
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My new stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed using my new stove. The owner's manual was very helpful for getting to know all the features and their use. I find the stove very efficient when using the cooktop and oven. The oven cleaning feature is unique. I have not had to use it as yet. The stove is also very quiet when I am using the oven. I like that feature a lot. The control panel is very sensitive but not a problem. I am very happy with my purchase.

I love my new Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my oven in January, I love all of the features especially having the knobs on the front so I don't have to reach over the hot stove to adjust temperatures. It's beautiful in my kitchen along with all of my other Whirlpool products.
