High Tech Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the range based on a picture for its bold, high-end look. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and I saw it in person. It is a sharp looking appliance.
The oven controls are accessed through an LCD touch screen panel. Initially. the touch screen was unresponsive. I then unplugged and plugged in the appliance to rectify. The LCD screen is very sensitive to touch so when the oven is on, exercise caution when cleaning up stove top spills or you may end up turning it off. The LCD display lists common dishes/meals with recommended temperature settings that can be quickly selected.
The oven connects using a WiFi connection to your home network. It can be controlled remotely using a mobile app. The only limitation is you can't setup more than one user. It supports push notifications although I have not been able to get that to work.
The stove top burners are layed out well. The knobs are solid. Cleaning up spills is a chore, but with the proper cleaning tools, the glass surface can be kept prestine.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Self cleaning feature is disappointing

The Aqua lift cleaning technology is very disappointing. I would not have bought this product had I know how poorly it cleans. I would imagine Whirlpool will abandon this feature in the future. Quite simply, it does not work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only complaint would be that when you purchase this oven the stainless steel parts that go around the oven to cover the cracks should come standard because it doesn't make sense that you would use this without them.

This is a great looking range but ...

I got this range for my elderly parents in November. It looks fantastic. I setup the smart oven and integrating it into Alexa for them and it it works great after a little training. The oven is huge (but you do lose some space for storage underneath.) Now my areas for future improvements:
1) The large burner is in the front. This is the one my mother uses the most and would prefer it in the back where is it away from stray fingers. Maybe to have an option for rangers with large burner either in front or in back.
2) The smart feature is only for the oven. It would be great to expand that to control the stove top burners as well. That way you could check if a burner is left on. Or set it on a timer. Or give an alarm that it is getting too hot and shut it off. Or control/check it with Alexa.
3) Would be nice to have an induction model option.
4) This model does not have an overlap on the counter edges so stuff will fall/spill down the sides if the range. Including a small edging that matches the cooktop and can just fix in the gap with be a nice addition.

Great oven, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for 6-7 months. The scan to cook feature proves to be nothing more than a novelty, the touch screen is nice, but a splash spill or spot near the screen can press buttons for you. The oven had started to preheat itself after we were going to bed because of a dried on spot near the screen.
You can’t turn the timer off, if you silence the timer it still goes on every minute unless you completely cancel the cooking setting(turn off Bake, Broil, etc...)
Also the timer sound is strange, I’d prefer something more classic and noticeable, it’s WiFi enabled, couldn’t they make a few more noises to download or something

Poor design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the stove is good, however a poor design of overhang lip on top, makes viewing the markings on the eye knobs hard to see. After only a month, oven lightbulb is out and had to be replaced.
