Excellent product!

We bought this bundle for my daughter for her birthday and she absolutely loves it! Can't hardly get her to put it down. I am impressed at how easy it was for her to operate and that it was so quick and easy to set up on the computer. Also seems to have pretty good battery life for this kind of product which is a plus for long car rides. :-)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good product but found 20 dollars cheaper

My daughter loves this one she is excited about the princess but not only that she just loves having her own " tablet" the only thing that got me is right after I got it I found the same exact bundle for $20.00 less .
Pros: Educational, Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child

Great Learning Tool for Children!

I have purchased 6 Leap Frog products over the years. for my grandchildren. one Leap Frog Explorer, followed by five Leap Pads.
As each child grew, little brother or sister would be "stealing" older siblings to play with, so my wife and I would buy one for the next child.
Great to bring on trips (keeps them occupied), great for them to use by themselves, games give positive feedback to children while teaching them letters, numbers, counting, spelling, and visual shape relationships.
I consider Leap Frog products one of the best gifts to get for young people.
I also highly recommend getting the cases, which are very well made, protect the product, and give a place to store the additional cartridges!
Fabulous product!!

I bought 2 leap pad 1's for my 4 year old twins for Christmas 2012! Within 3 months one would turn on but not load! Bought a leappad2 October 23, 2012 to replace the nonloading one and after waiting for the 4 hour charge, my 4 year old went to her room and opened her carrying case and it fell to the floor from her bed and the screen shattered! She had been playing with it less than 2 hours. Thought a children's toy would be more sturdy. Will not be buying a new one. I think a cardboard box would be sturdier! Bought the rechargeabale battery pack and can't use it with the leappad1. We didn't even get a chance to register it online! Pure waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We got this for my daughters 4th birthday. We paid a little extra for the Princess edition… due to the fact that it was the last LeapPad 2 available in Chicago the day before her birthday. I think it was totally worth the extra $ spent. My daughter was so excited when she opened it (I think mainly because she knew it was some sort of electronic device and because it had princesses all over it). This is a great leaning tool! My 2.5 year old also loves to play with it. We have had to limit play/leaning time with it. I think she would play nonstop all day if we would let her. The ONLY down side is that it uses up batteries crazy fast. We have purchased reusable batteries and have to recharge them after about four hours of use.

I bought this for my 3 year olds birthday. She absolutely loves it ! Has not put it down yet! The cartridge games are a little expensive so I lean towards purchasing the games, videos, etc. from the app store.
