High Quality with a Professional Look

Beautiful Design, Good so far!

No cooking time on Broil and Convection is unsafe

I own this oven for a few years and only used it as a microwave oven. Door switch failed in about 3 years and I've replaced it myself. Recently I've tried to use it in a convection mode or broil and realised cooking time can not be setup. I have to watch the oven and shut off manually. This is very bad for home usage since people may forget about it, leave home and catch a fire or just burn their food. There is a cook timer but it does not shut off heating. Just beeps really weak when expired and you won't hear it from another room. So, cooking time shutoff works only on microwave. Very inconvenient and unsafe. Bad product functionally.

lovely design, bad display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 2 yrs owning this microwave, the display dimmed to a point that we can barely see it. That is very unfortunate and disappointing for such an expensive microwave. The appliance is out of warranty now, but based on the numerous complaints about the same situation, I think BOSCH should rectify the problem (free of charge) to their customers.

Great Appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned my Bosch Speed Oven for nearly 2 years and I have to say that I love this oven. It replaced my toaster oven and microwave when we built our house. It looks great matched with the Bosch 800 series wall oven and is so handy for smaller dishes. It has way more features than I use, but for the day to day cooking, I use it 70-80% of the time for my Husband and me. My only wish was that the door would swing from the side and not from the bottom as it is a little awkward to clean when it is located above the wall oven. Overall, a great appliance.

Short in electrical system

The manufacturer info inside the oven indicates that it is 3 years old. Recently a short in the appliance has rendered it completely unusable. Prohibitively expensive to repair.

cooks fast and even

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this microwave about 18 months ago we love the performance overall and this unit looks great and fits right in with our high end custom kitchen. My only issues is that the light for the panel is fading and may soon go completely dim make sure to cover every thing you cook any splash is hard to clean because the element on top, I have learned that if you cook just a little longer at a lower power a lot less cleaning problems and things also taste better. I would buy this microwave again
