Bosch microwave/convection oven

This is an excellent appliance, well worth the price. We previously had a Dacor mirco/convection combo and it worked well, but the Bosch is better. The micorwave function is superb at every setting. And the convection oven works great, as well as our large oven. We use this combination oven for smaller jobs since it draws less power than our large convection oven. The main thing Bosch needs to do is provide a better user manual, or preferably videos, since the oven is so complicated and has so many functions. Bottom line-we use this several times daily, especially the defrost/bake cycle which our busy family could not go without.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the extended warranty and had to use it many times. The control panel just dimmed and went dead or stopped working. After a couple of years, the unit kept blowing the internal 20A fuse. They replaced the door switches and it worked for a few weeks then died again. After 2 more control panels and control boards, it is still not working. BUT, now they no longer make the parts for it so I'm hosed. Maybe I can sell the stainless steel for a few bucks! I'm upset because upgraded our whole kitchen to Bosch because we wanted quality products. Now, we'll probabyl HAVE to buy another Bosch to match the rest of the kitchen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A disappointment 😞

Nothing but problems with this appliance. Worked great for 2 years with light use. Then display board became unreadable. I didn't spring for a replacement board as I heard they didn't last. It finally completely died after 7 years of very light usage. I would never purchase another Bosch appliance unless I was given a $credit from Bosch as an incentive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Original purchased in 2015. Panel board burned out in 2017. It was slightly out of warranty. Bosch agreed to replace. Replacement installed July 2017. Panel board display failed in 2020. December 2024 entire unit failed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
