Great Features but a cleaning nightmare!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the convenience of this speed oven. We are only 2 people at home, so we use the speed oven feature a lot for baking chicken breasts, fish, etc. Wish the door opened to the side (this is a more expensive option --why?!) as you need monkey arms to clean the inside of the unit. We cover EVERYTHING we microwave and wipe it out constantly but still the inside gets covered in brown gunk that is impossible to remove without scratching the ss surface. It is a cleaning nightmare. I'm going back to an old style microwave in my next home.

Display dimmed in under 2 years

Bought this microwave oven after reading good reviews. Unfortunately in under 2 years of regular use, the display has dimmed to the point where the oven is almost unusable. Warranty is only for 1 year. Would not recommend buying this product.

Love the flexibility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave cooks food very evenly and the convection oven is great for keeping food warm while using the main oven. My only complaint is that the kitchen timer is a different format than microwave timing (kitchen timer is in minutes, MW is in seconds).

Very disappointing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One month after manufacturer's warranty expired, the light bulb stopped woking. I called the service department of the store where I bought the unit and was told that to change the bulb, the unit has to be totally removed from the wall and reinstalled. They said it will take 2 men minimum to hours to do job, costing several hundreds of dollars. I m continuing to use the oven with light. Very poor design!!

Efficiency

Like all of our Boscsh appliances purchased (stove, refrigerator and dishwasher, the microwave/convection oven is a very precise and efficient appliance. No problems whatsoever and would recommend it highly.

Best use of space that I can imagine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit, my old microwave was ancient. To upgrade to this one was a HUGE leap! We use it for standard microwave stuff and it cooks evenly and quickly. The amazing part is the convection! I make cookies, bars, muffins, casseroles, etc. All cook perfectly. In the hot summer to have a convection oven so small and quick to heat was wonderful.

Great features, but has issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 13 months (1 month out of warranty), the display went dim. The repairman was nice enough to replace it with a new rev part (you know there is something wrong) at no charge. Now 6 months later, the cooling fan will not turn off, ever! Even the next day it was still running. I had to turn off the circuit breaker until we can get it repaired.
