I bought this a few weeks ago and I'm pretty happy. I beat up the old strap and am glad I bought this one. They all come with the removable links now so it'll be easier to change this one some day (the old one required a tool). I really like the combo of silicon on the bottom layer and leather on the top. It stays on my arm much better, doesn't rotate or slide down and the keepers also have silicon so instead of sliding off the strap, they all stick in place all day. I used to hate fixing the keepers to hold the extra band down all the time when the keepers would slide off. But now I don't. The leather does NOT look like the picture. It starts out in basic clean, brown leather and then wears easily so yours will be unique. They are easy to scratch though. I accidentally scratched a portion with my fingernail and it made a light line, but it gets covered up by the overlapping band. But just beware if you use your hands a lot at work or work near metal or other sharp objects, it'll get ugly scratch lines instead of nice discolored wear marks.

My boyfriend wears his watch every day without fail, but he works outside a lot and sweats throughout the day. His original leather watch band started to smell and we couldn't find a good way to clean it. I ordered this watch band and it solved the problem completely! No smell at all! Perfect for outdoorsy types. The only thing I don't like is that the small bands that hold the slack don't have the silicone backing and break with time. This is my second purchase due to this, but the pros are definitely worth the cons!

When I read the description I couldn't wrap my head around the meaning behind leather and silicone strap. I was put off for a moment when I first opened the package and saw it. But after wearing it and thought it through, this strap will definitely outlast the plain leather straps I've been blasting through. I think this design will last a long time, and I'm glad I decided to get it. Looks and feels great as well!

Replacement band for my husband's watch that he wears daily. He dislikes that the loop you push the extra bit of strap through moves around, causing that extra bit of strap to flap and catch on stuff while he's working. After sewing it in place it hasn't been a problem, but it would be nice if it was already stationary.

I have my new fossil watch band and I'm not very pleased with it. It looks more like between leather band and it's not very comfortable . Read more like rubber then a leather band . I would not recommend this particular watchband to anyone .
