This is perfect addition to my summer cooking! The way the meat comes out so tender is unbelievable! I have to stop and think this is something that I cooked.
It takes a little getting used to adjusting the flame to make the heat consistent all across the main body of the grill, but it is worth the adjustments.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is a great smoker for the price without getting into the high end units. I like the construction, the fit of the lids is tight and the unit has greqt capacity for cooking for a group.

Used another brand of smoker for years that stacked the water, then the smoking grates, this Oklahoma Joe is much easier to load, clean, and use. A clear step up.

I think they should better design the air adjustment door as this one does not work well warps from heat and allows to much air

Bought around two months ago. So far have smoked pork shoulder and grilled some pork steaks. During seasoning process discovered lid leaked a LOT of smoke around both doors. no way of adjusting so ordered gasket for Big Green egg and placed on smoker. Form and fit of the doors leave a lot to be desired. Would like to return and get another and hope it had a lot better fit. Would only recommend this unit if Charbroil would get better on their quality control. This one was either missed or they were sleeping when this on went past them
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
