Good Dryer

Huge enough to dry comforters, but not a fan of having to clean the lint compartment after each use. Also the door doesn't seem to close easy. You have to close with a bit of force. Otherwise, clothes are definitely dry on the first cycle, which I usual only set for about 30 minutes or so.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very impressed with the dryer...very efficient, easy to use, cool technology as we have connected it to our home WiFi and integrated with the GE Appliances Smart Phone app which allows you to see your cycles and get notifications to remind you when your laundry is ready!

Overall, I have been disappointed in this device. It seems to not work correctly on certain settings: it turns off prematurely; doesn't keep running until the clothes are dry when set to moisture sense - which my much older model did flawlessly. Sometimes even timed dry doesn't run until the end of the time that was set. Why? It isn't because it was overheating because I corrected for that in my various trails. A lot of money for a machine that works less well than an older model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washer and dryer

Just installed yesterday . So far did 3 loads and seems to work well. Clothes almost spin dry. Have to get used to water levels but seemed to clean just fine. Only problem is I use pods and manufacturer suggests putting in filled tub then adding clothes. Can't do it with this washer they say throw pod in bottom of basket then add clothes and let fill up. Worried pods wouldn't dissolve properly but all 3 loads came out just fine. So far works well and I love the deep tub although I think I'll need a step stool or something to grab those small items from the bottom because I'm a little short . Small sacrifice since I'm happy to be able to wash my King size comforters rather than go to the laundromat to use their big washers.

The only thing I didn’t like about this dryer is the cords for the stream option were not long enough. My dryer is next to the washing machine and the sink is about 6-7 feet from it. The cord for steam is at most three feet long. I have to buy my own extensions ( forced to pay for original cords that don’t fit and new longer ones) and put it on the machine myself, when the dryer was installed the installation was not completed due to coda to short.
