Bad design in Lint filter - items get stuck

I have only been using this dryer for about 1 week, but I am disappointed. The dryer sheet gets caught EVERY SINGLE TIME in the dryer. The result is that the dryer sheets start to get burned instead of tumbling with the rest of the clothing. Some thin clothing items like underwear of things with thin straps have also been caught in the lint filter and nearly ruined. The issue with the lint filter is bad for me, and I wish I had bought a different model. We also had issues hooking up the steam function, so we cannot use it. You need to have access to the cold water valve used for the washer, or you will not able to use it. We had some valve issues, so we could not connect it. The rest of the dryer works fine, it dries faster than my previous dryer and is fairly quiet. However, due to the issue with the lint filter, I would NOT recommend this dryer.

I love that it can steam my Clothes and they look like they have been ironed! It gets the wrinkles and creases right out!

Life Changer!

I cannot express enough how my new GE washer and dryer have been game changers. I was stubborn and held out as long as possible before making my purchase. My washer stopped spinning and it took several minutes of rearranging and getting it going. The knob on my dryer broke and I was using a pliers to move it. It only turned off when you opened the door which became a fire hazard. I love all the features of my new set. I didn't think I'd use the app too often but boy was I WRONG!! (I can leave instructions with my teenage sons to fold clothes or switch the clothes to the dryer and I know from my alerts if they don't do it, lol!!!) I love the delay feature especially after baseball. I can put in the dirty uniform and set the delay for an hour so that we can all get our showers without having to suffer in cold water!! Before, I'd forget to start the load before bed and wake up in a panic that the uniform wouldn't be ready for the next day's game!! "GAME" CHANGER!!!!

Not working well

Bought the dryer about a month ago. We live in the country and use propane versus natual gas. So, we had to do the gas coversion. However, dryer is not drying clothes completely. Sensing funtion doesn't seem to be working. One annoying glitch...fabric softener sheets get stuck on a lip of the lint vent and have to be pulled free. This affects the ability to reduce static. We would not recommend this dryer.

Love this dryer, installed the laundry app on the kid's phones so they can monitor their laundry progress, no more laundry forgotten in the machine.

Nice Dryer

I bought a GE washer and dryer set about 2 months ago. So far both have been great. This dryer does a great job of sensing when the clothes are dry. The steam feature is kind of nice also just to refresh or fluff some things up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My wife and I bought this dryer when we bought the matching washer and really like this dryer. It does just what it should do, dry our clothes. It has a large drum which is nice since the washer also has a large capacity. Our favorite feature is the wifi. It is nice to know when your laundry is done.
The only reason I don’t give this dryer 5 starts is that I wish it had a dry setting that would determine the humidity level and stop when the cloths are just dry. No more guessing how long you need to have the unit running. Just run until everything is dry and stop. If it had this, then this would have 5 stars.
