Loud - but, works great.

It is the loudest dryer I've ever had - and seems to be the normal for this product. It does dry the clothes well - and has great features. I just dread turning it on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of feature and easy to use. Switching the door to hinge on the other side was a real hassle. The door open button does not work, it doesn't stop the drum when the door opens, but sometimes it stops the drum while the door is closed.

Our dryer broke down after 30 days of purchad

Dryer broke down 30 days from purchase and up to now not yet fixed. Still waiting for parts. Informed it will come in 3days but already 7 days still no parts . We have to hang clothes outside to dry.

Too noisy

The drier made a constant clunking sound. After a repair man replaced some parts it got a bit quieter. Hope it doesn't get any louder.

Great product from GE. You can’t go wrong with appliances from one of the longest running brands in the USA. We love the steam option, great if you don’t have time to take your clothes to the dry cleaner.
