Love my cook top but very unsatisfied with the plastic knobs, i need to replace them already and the price for plastic knobs are ridiculous

PLASTIC KNOBS??? Cheaply made product.

Works well, but looks awful. Plastic knobs??? Really??? They needed replacing after less than a year. The markings on the stove also came off. I never used harsh chemicals or scrubbers...it's just poorly made. We're remodeling and will NOT buy again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap plastic parts and paint that doesn't last

Bought a house that had this 30" GE gas cook top, came with the house, definitely not my choice. The paint for the burner knob locations has worn off with gentle cleaning of only wet paper towels and 409 spray. I have glass pyrex measuring cups that are over 30 years old and the paint on those is as good as new and stands up to scouring pads. GE can't figure out what kind of paint to use on stainless steel that stands up to only wet paper towels. The knobs are cheap plastic and the paint is wearing off those too. Need to replace it with some other brand because it will definitely not be anything made by GE. Poor quality appliances, GE is great at cost cutting and lousy at product durability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap plastic knobs and decals

The knobs are plastic which is surprising. Used the griddle and it melted two of my knobs and trying to find replacement parts is difficult. Plus all of the decals come off with cleaning.

The knobs on mine have also melted. I don’t know how to get replacement knobs. Worst place to put plastic.
