The GE PGP7030SLSS cooktop allows for quick boiling in the teapot and slow simmer for a sauce. The only concern is that the heat from the elements may affect objects close to the cooktop.

This cooktop is attractive and extremely useful with the center burner. It looks good, it performs well, and I could not be more pleased with his new addition to my kitchen. The manual controls, work flawlessly, and I love that underneath the turn handles that it lights up. Any help minimizing the possibility of forgetting to turn the burner off is greatly appreciated
