SILVER IS WEARING OFF KNOBS AND LETTERING

The silver is wearing off the knobs, white plastic underneath showing through. I’m not sure if it’s the heat or cleaning. I only use windex on the knobs. It looks horrible and cheap though. I definitely would not recommend. I called and complained and they sent one new knob but that quickly rubbed off too. And it is all the knobs not just one of them.

Gas Stove knobs melted

I purchased new house from builder and all my appliance are GE but after few days the Gas Stove knobs melted all ! Even They look like stainless steel, but apparently they are made of plastic. I'm very disappointed with the quality of this product

Works Beautifully, Easy to Clean

I’m quite happy with this cooktop purchase! Love the higher-powered center burner, and the fact that the left 2 burners are of equal strength so my pancake griddle gets even heat. Also really like the led lights under the burner knobs-good thinking! The lights were actually why I looked at this particular cooktop over others. I did see, on another cooktop back hinges on the 3 burner grates, which would be great to add to this model. But I really don’t have trouble cleaning under the grates...simply tipping them back works too. I recommend!

Nice replacement cooktop for our older Profile cooktop but are a bit disappointed in how easily the stainless steel surface scratches if touched with the overlying grates where cleaning. One must be VERY careful. Also, a control knob is wearing out or chipping off on the stainless coating - a quality disappointment after 5 months I’ll be contacting GE about that. Maybe just that one knob.

Good burner , but some plastic

It's a good set of burners but there is some use of plastic which appears to be less heat resistant . But GE was quick to provide a replacement. In the long run as well such items made of plastic which could get in contact with heat and easily melt should be covered for free. Or I wish GE comes up with stainless steel knobs that can fit and be a good replacement.

Print wears of the first severalMonths of use

Although the features are nice, the writing came off after using a mild spray cleaner. Small scratches are easily made and the paint comes off too easily
