The installation was a breeze once I disconnected the gas line from the old GE unit. As advertised the cutout dimensions were a perfect fit. The new unit looks and works great. I particularly like that the burner control has a light that turns on and stays on when the burner is turned on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this to replace a 25 year old GE cooktop. This is a fabulous upgrade. The burners work perfect and the stainless finish is clean and modern looking.

When you want to turn the burner on, you should turn the knob to the "Light" position, not the LITE position. Really, GE?
Can you please explain the rationale behind the partial crossbars in the grill. Small pots easily tip into the space where the grill in inexplicably missing. It is hazardous.

This stove-top came with our new house and it is working wonderfully. So far it cleans easily and the burners light without delay.
Not sure why there are breaks in the grill -- smaller pans sometimes tilt into the openings which is a spill hazard.

We bought this a couple of months ago. It is great to work with smooth grades and good control of the flame on each burner. It is a handsome product too. Fits very well with our kitchen style.

Love having an extra burner

Replaced my old GE 4 burner with this wonderful 5 burner. The grates are easy to move pots around and make good use of all burners. Wish I had replaced earlier.
