Great stove

I love my GE stove. the only complain is that it scrapes very easily. little sponge and I got scratches all over it.

Good cooktop, just need to be gentle with it

We like the cooktop overall, especially the extra large center burner. But if you accidentally hit the top of the control knobs with a pan it will cause the silver coating on the knob to be scratched exposing the white plastic underneath. We're not talking about a big bang, jus t gentle touch of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Professional grade!

I am loving this new cooktop. The grates are heavy and solidly fit on the rubber pads without moving one bit. The grates match up well for a seamless slide of a pot from one burner to another. Canned some homemade jam last week using three of the burners simultaneously. Used the left-hand burners with my own griddle for breakfast this morning, with excellent results. Like the lights under the knobs to let you know for certain when it's turned on/gas is flowing. One note of caution: the grates are cast iron and hold the heat VERY WELL for a while after the burners have been off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's difficult to to adjust the flame. I just think they were not calibrated properly.
I'm going to create a warranty repair request with my builder.
Its a nice looking unit that was the default upgrade on the kitchen package....
I will recommend this model but explain my experience

The finish on the knobs is cheaply made. They have a chrome look but they are plastic. The rest of the cooktop is of professional quality.

The PLASTIC knobs sit higher than the burner grates. So if you take a hot pan out of the oven and set it on the stove top the knobs will melt.
