Reliable Cook Top

We are happy to have a gas cooktop after almost 40 years with only electric. This GE gas cooktop looks great, is relatively easy to clean and cooks very well.

I have been pleasently surprised with this cooktop. This was a downgrade from the five burner stove top in the home we moved from. We had just completed a remodel on this home and I loved the cooktop we had installed, however the five burner on a 30" cooktop is better in theory than reality. This stove top is much more spacious and enjoyable to cook on than the one 3x the price I had previously!

The control knob seems backward to me. As it goes counterclockwise the flame gets smaller. I would prefer the opposite.i.e. As you turn knob flame gets bigger

I like the fact it have a tray, but four star if it would have been much accessible to easy extract the tray under the grill without taking out the knob for cleaning purposes.
