Distance between the burner vessel is high

I have too many complaints about this burner. The burner was provided by the builder so we didn't have much choice to pick.
1. Distance between the burner flame and vessel is too high and take a long time to cook
2. waste on gas since it takes too much of cooking time
3. knob is made of cheep plastic that keeps breaking ( you need to keep changing the knob's every 2 months.
4. No deduction of complete off is provided on knob.

I'M VERY UNHAPPY WITH MY STOVE TOP RANGE. IT IS HARD TO KEEP CLEAN AND VERY CHEAPLY MADE. IT'S ALMOST GENERIC. GOING FORWARD I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A GE APPLIANCE ESPECIALLY STAINLESS.

Could be better. Expected a low profile grate

The cooktop is very neat and works well. Only con I see is the grate is very high from the burner, because of which flame does not touch the utensil and it takes longer to heat. I think an option to have a low profile grate would have been a plus. Secondly, there is not a pattern of knobs placement with regards to the burner. At times I find a little diffcult in locating the correct knob.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stove operation

This product blew up. I didn't cook on it daily. Not sure if it's the stove manufacturer or my builder who had it installed.

Pour quality appliance

The grates were worn in appearance after a weeks use with Cuisinart pans. The stainless steel is easily scratched. The stove eyes are very hard to remove the normal remnants from cooking. Very disappointed. I hope the review will prompt a call. I feel I have received a defective appliance. My neighbors are not experiencing the problems I am.
