I have only had it about a month, so I don't know anything about it's longevity, is works get and look fabulous. Easy to clean with window cleaner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks so much for reviewing this cooktop. Did you know that this cooktop has a precise simmer burner and has power boil? This will help boil large quantities of water much faster than normal. The grates are also dishwasher safe. Thanks for choosing GE. Stay well. Mike@GEA
