Tight bass

I hooked this up to my system with another JBL sub. It's a 260p and I had to turn it down to get this 550 to match it. The system overall sounds great now. They say that the low notes aren't as directional to your ears. I like having 2 subs now on each side of the room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

More than enough thump to go with the matching 590 towers. Haven't even pushed them yet and still getting a great rumble for theater and stereo music.

This sub woofer rocks the foundation I’ve been using JBL PA speakers for over 25 years I wanted the low end that I got out of my pa subs in my house

A great addition to my JBL Studio 580 speakers. Really love the enhanced bass and makes my musical listening more enjoyable. Bought this subwoofer at a super price.

This is my 4th JBL sub with the highest powered amplifier and best frequency response. Great for home theater and performs as well as my Revel subs.
