The sound I wanted.

I have been looking for that distinctive thump that you can feel in your gut and I found it in this one. I tried about six ported ones and immediately returned all of them. Then I tried my first non ported sub the 550 jbl and BANG, this is what I wanted. Sound that you can feel when you're in the mood. I loved it so much I bought another and then another. 2 for the front room and 1 for the bedroom. After I save up a little I'd like to have 1 more for my work shop. You can put them anywhere because there's no port, but they are very heavy.
Shipping was fast also. It was the first time I bought JBL and I am very happy with them.

Sub did not turn on!

When I received my brand new sub it did not turn on out of the box. I had to return it.

The absolute best bang for the buck in the whole subwoofer world, a crisp non booming tone, I actually gave away my klipsch sub 30 minetes after plugging this in.

Best $ for $ subwoofer I’ve seen!

Great subwoofer. Made this purchase as a 2nd subwoofer to my surround system, & dollop for dollar, this product is a home run. Great functionality, & well built. LFE connectivity is awesome! The only downside I could speak of is size (but that’s being picky). It’s a little bigger than what I imagined, however, it earns the space it takes 2 to 3 fold by putting out incredible low frequencies. I have mine turned up to around the 50% mark, & the whole room shakes when the low frequencies come out! I would highly recommend!
