When I first started to use the speakers I did not have the foam insert for the woofers. I started with a record that had quite a bit of bass content, and I could barely drive them before reverberation started. After I inserted the foam pieces, they have worked well. They provide a full, rich sound. I consider these speakers a great value for the price paid.

After I finally received these I can now say that these speakers slap! I bought them for my tiny apartment living room and these deliver insane sound in such a small space. Everyone at my college just plays music off of bluetooth speakers so they are blown away when I crank these babies up. One girl at a get together started playing music on a laptop and I started laughing after listening to these things. I do not have a very high end audio setup, just a 10 year old onkyo av receiver rated at 125 watts per channel hooked up to a tv with an optical cable. I have mainly been listening to music off of youtube and tidal, it sounds great. For music the bass is usually more than sufficient although bass lovers would benefit from a sub-woofer if they listen to a lot of electronic and rap music. Love these speakers!

5.2.2, couldn’t get the sound right w 570s as front. Replaced w 580s, instantly got the sound field I was hoping to get w 570s. 570s are more suited for surrounds.

I chose to purchase these speakers based off the other reviews and the fact that every JBL product I own is superior quality. These are no different. I bought a pair for my expanding vinyl collection and they do not disappoint. The Bass can get a bit boom-y but they come with mufflers. They have some weight to them and are very well built. I would certainly recommend these to any one who is looking for excellent sound quality at an affordable price.
