Replacement bottles for a soda

Replacement bottles for a soda stream purchased about 5-7 years ago. They work well. Only one observation is I notice some plastic goop on the tip of my bottle when I make the soda and am unscrewing the bottle. Appreciate any feedback.

I prefer the old shorter/wider bottles. The new ones are too tall for my refrigerator shelf and also tip over much easier than the classic style.

Having extra bottles on hand it key
