We love our fridge!

The sliding drawer of the freezer is so smooth and sturdy. The ice maker is great. The shelves in the main compartment are all so nice. The lighting is beautiful. We are so glad that we made the switch to Frigidaire!

Startling sound

Purchased this for our new home. The cooling and freezing capabilities are great along with the easy exterior cleaning. Both the upper and lower units provide ample storage.
Unfortunately, the refrigerator comes with loud sounds. I was expecting a noise for the for the compressor and ice maker. What I wasn't expecting was a random loud bang. If you are simply relaxing when the house is quite or about to fall asleep, when this noise happens, you would think it was a gun shot. I have been startled way too many times. In addition to this noise, when the freezer door is opened another loud "clunk". The freezer door was replaced due to another issue, yet it didn't eliminate the noise. When the replacement freezer door was installed, those installing heard the noise when opening the door. They indicated it could be a spring. Although the loud "bang" didn't happen when installing the replacement freezer door, they weren't certain what could cause the loud "bang". If you can handle loud sounds, this is a great appliance, if you are startled easily, a different model could be a better option.

Simple & Fabulous!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator after a year wait and I am so glad my patience paid off! Due to the global pandemic this particular model has been hard to come by. I did not want nor need the water and ice dispenser on the outside and it provides a more clean and simple look. The space in both the refrigerator and freezer is deceptively amazing, very spacious! I love how the lighting gradually illuminates, especially for those late night snacks. I worried that the unit would be noisy. No worries anymore, it is very quiet. Thus far, I am very pleased with my long awaited Frigidaire refrigerator purchase!

Know major design flaw before buying

We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator, perfect size and with everything we needed. It is a great refrigerator for keeping foods fresh...when it's on. If there are electric fluctuations or outages, this model does NOT come back on without being manually reset. After contacting Frigidaire, I was told this was a design feature. Poor design. If you are away for a few days, a week or more, you may come home to spoiled food. And this is a design feature! I would advise buying a different brand...it really could be a 5 star refrigerator if not for this feature. My Jenn-Aire refrigerator and another inexpensive refrigerator I have for over-flow do not have these problems. They automatically come back on when power is restored

Thank you for sharing your experience with the power failure alarm. We certainly understand your concerns and would like to explain the benefit of having this alarm on your refrigerator. The appliance should operate as normal, in the event that there is a loss in power and it is restored. The power failure alarm will highlight on the control panel and will stay on until the button is pressed to acknowledge it. Depending on when the power is restored, the high temp alarm will beep until the normal temperature range is restored.
