Roomy, high quality & sleek

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing keeping me from giving this fridge a 5 star rating is that it requires you to open the fridge after a power outage in order to turn it back on. What if we were away? Fortunately we have been home during recent storms, and it has not been a problem. This is a design flaw, in my opinion.

Clean lines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was delivered in March 2021. The freezer door is frozen shut due to the icemaker. The gasket is not secure. All of my frozen food has ice crystals. There are large chunks of ice and icicles stuck to the back and floor of my freezer. I am extremely displeased with the quality of this appliance!!

Lasts only 7 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frigidaire quality that I admire since I was a child for its dependability and reliability is gone. I bought this one in June 2012 with 5-year extended warranty by September 2012, the fridge malfunction and they have to send a technician to replace the condenser. I can't imagine after about 3 months it's broken. Now just 2 years after the 5-year warranty period, the cooler compartment is malfunctioning. It says EF and the temperature is at high temp. I unplug the unit and reset it, still same problem prevails. Where is the quality that Frigidaire stands for. Unluckily I purchased another Frigidaire product this year in February, an electric range, I Hope it will last more than 7 years. If it breaks down earlier than that, I will never buy any Frigidaire product again.

Freezing and bangs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Somewhat disappointed with the gallery line. The refrigerator makes loud banging noises every so often day and night. Most products freeze if they are 5 inches from back wall of fridge cabinet. I try to avoid pushing anything towards the back.

These are all normal sounds and soon will become familiar to you. The sounds indicate your appliance is operating as designed. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl or wood floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make sounds more noticeable. To prevent food items from freezing on the top shelf, please make sure that none of your items are blocking the vents within the wall of the refrigerator. Also, the back of your refrigerator is the coldest, so to prevent your food items from freezing, place them closer to the front of the shelf. Hopefully, this helps. Will not honor warranty

I purchased this refrigerator on January 23, 2019. It was delivered on February 4, 2019. In August of 2019 there was a problem with cooling which was eventually resolved in September of 2019 after some delay. In January of 2020 the ice maker ceased to function. I reported the problem to Frigidaire on January 20 or 21, 2020 and have emails exchanged on January 21, 2020 to verify this. Frigidaire refuses to honor the one year warranty so I am going to be stuck with paying the repair out my own pocket.

Don’t purchase

We have had this fridge (although I should say freezer, because it freezes everything in the refrigerator compartment, even with the temp set to 40F. Very disappointed, wish we could return it.

In the meantime, check your refrigerator’s doors. If your fridge is not leveled this may cause your doors to be misaligned and not close/seal properly, which could lead your unit to have cooling, frost, or moisture problems.

Odd Feature in Power Outage Situation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this refrigerator for just over a month and everything is as expected except this odd and frustrating feature....if I lose power for any small amount of time, the refrigerator turns off and a beeping starts until I hit the reset button. The refrigerator does not automatically come back on when the power comes on. So what will happen to all of my food if I'm away for a few days or more and this happens? Seems like a horrible feature and I'm hoping to discover a setting that can turn this off some time soon.

Great fridge
