Great Refrigerator except

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator has generally been very good. Temperature control is precise. Frozen food stays nicely frozen. Drawer arrangement is good. Lighting is good. Unfortunately, the compressor sounds like an old airplane taking off and slowly winds up to full speed. The loud noise only lasts about 15 seconds, but this happens every time the compressor starts up. The seal between the refrigerator doors works on a hinge and occasionally gets stuck when closing one of the doors, requiring a few extra seconds to reopen and close the doors to allow them to shut fully.This is a minor design flaw. Overall, we are reasonably happy with the refrigerator.

Great Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When remodeling our kitchen we were looking for a larger refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. We didn't want the water or ice in the door - wanted to keep a clean, simple look. We installed it 2 weeks ago and we love it! The size is perfect, the clear shelves make finding things so easy, and there is a ton of space just in the doors leaving the shelves free for larger containers. The freezer fits everything that we used to keep in the old side by side freezer plus extra that we used to keep in a separate freezer in the basement! It makes a ton of ice - the only drawback is you need to be careful when you open the freezer so that the ice doesn't fall out the back. Very happy also with the fingerprint resistant stainless finish.

Loud Noises sound like gun shots

Hello, Kdonne no! Did you know, with your new appliance, modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models? The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. These are all normal sounds and soon will become familiar to you. The sounds indicate your appliance is operating as designed. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl or wood floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make sounds more noticeable. We hope this helps. Lots of room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is lots of room in the appliance. We’ve had problems with the ice maker though. It makes so much ice that when you pull the drawer out, ice spills all over the bottom of the freezer and onto the floor.
