Functional and loud

We bought this model as our 13-yr old Kenmore died. Wanted to buy local and FAST during pandemic so availability was an issue, we ended up taking the model that fit our needs and was available from local longtime appliance store. Frig was installed a week later and we have had no problems. Works perfectly well.
Only issue is that there is an open floor plan with kitchen and the motor runs quite loud, most of the time. Not so loud to drown out conversation or the TV, but if its a quiet time, its a steady background rumble. Our last frig was not so.
BUT we did get it during Pandemic from a local appliance store so all is well.

Two years down the road and we would buy this again

When I was searching for new appliances it was hard to find reviews from people who had owned the appliance for a considerable amount of time, so here is one in case anyone is looking for the same. I researched this purchase obsessively. Waited 20 years for a new kitchen and I was going to get it right! I actually had very few to choose from once I decided I did not want to lose all that room inside by getting water and ice in the door. I also think fridge looks so much more sleek w/o it. Felt like 80% of new fridges sold now had that in the door. I also found that the Korean brands had some of the CONSISTENTLY WORST reviews so that further reduced my choices as those brands dominated the aisles everywhere I looked. Smudge proof was a must, and finally, I wanted the biggest one I could find since we ripped down to the studs and could build around the fridge! This one was the winner and we love it. So sleek and clean looking. I've read complaints about noise but whatever noises it makes here and there to make ice or whatever else it does sound like normal fridge sounds to me and are hardly noticeable. Two minor complaints keep me from giving it a 5...the crisper drawers are super hard to put back when you remove them for cleaning. Always feel like you are gonna snap something in the process, and it does turn into a process. We never had an icemaker before so I have nothing to compare it to, but whenever you open the freezer if it hasn't recently been opened, ice that has piled up in the back, spills over the back and and 2 or 3 cubes end up under the basket and/or on the floor at your feet. Over time we've learned to open drawer slowly and scoop ice forward before we open it all the way. I'm just so thrilled to even HAVE an icemaker, and happy with the rest of the fridge that we just deal with it.

Looks nice

I am 5 ft tall and doesnt work for me Cant reach the top shelf And the ice gets knocked out of the holder when you pull the door open and falls either on the floor or behind the drawer Plus you have to bend way down to get ice out Needs smaller door shelves Everything rattles when not full Just not as convenient to me as a regular refrigerator
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's nice. But does not have a cover for the butter nor does it have retractable shelves.
The freezer is large. I like having the 2 shelves.

Spacious, Good Looking Fridge

I love that the shelves are adjustable and drawers are easy to get in and out. The bottom freezer is great. Our only complaint is that this fridge is loud. From the first day it was installed it has a loud hum. We have the ice maker turned off because we don't have a water line to the fridge, so it's not the ice maker that is making the noise. Our old fridge was much quieter. Other than the noise, it's a good fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet pack not quiet, stainless shows fingerprints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The layout of the refrigerator is fantastic. We love the shelving and space. However, the refrigerator runs all the time (that is apparently how it goes these days) and is louder than we had hoped, even with the "quiet pack." Also the stainless exterior does show fingerprints and smudges.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
