Terrific refrigerator!

The bright lighting makes finding things easy, and the layout is well conceived. The ice maker really churns out the ice! It really adds a beautiful touch to the kitchen.

Everything We Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our French Door refrigerator for several weeks and have been very pleased so far. We especially like the size of the refrigerator. Our model has an ice maker in the freezer. We love the large ice tray and the fact that the top freezer shelf opens independently from the bottom drawer. The freezer does make popping noises at times but the finger proof stainless finish and other features noted above make this a good choice for us.

The popping noise that you hear coming from the freezer happens during the defrost cycle. When the melted condensation hits the heater coils it will produce a "popping" or "hissing" sound. fits our space

Best fridge we've owned in 30 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased approx 4 years ago so this review is a test of time, (Mfg date of 11/14). Have had NO issues whatsoever. Our model FGHN2866PF4A has the Ice make in freezer but we chose NOT to hookup based on our previous ice-maker (which we think may have failed due to sediment from our well water). With that said,we don't miss the ice-maker as this freezer makes ice-cubes in no time! Love the size, lots of storage, excellent design to keep everything well organized, easy to clean, LED lighting, easy pull out drawers in both the fridge and freezer. The stainless steel finish is a breeze to keep clean (I recommend Weiman Stainless Steel Polish). Love, love the pull out freezer drawer! The touch control pad on the door of the freezer is very convenient and dependable to monitor temperatures in both the fridge and freezer. Ours is set at 39/fridge and 0/freezer. The only maintence besides cleaning the inside is making sure to vacuum under and behind a few times a year. It fridge rolls right out and back in.
