This fridge checked all the boxes of our search. Beautiful design, nice space inside, practical. We loved it until it became a headache. Sadly, we got a lemon. We purchased the fridge this past summer and got delivered on June 28th. Coincidentally, or not, when the weather got colder our troubles started. The fridge, for the past two months keeps awake all night, every night. The alarm starts around midnight and does not stop until morning. We tried everything. The last technician, made some adjustments, but could not figure out the problem. Another service refuses to come, and another needs the receipt, which we cannot find due to moving and Lowes, where we bought it, hasn't been much help. I just want a new fridge, I really dislike the idea of having a three-thousand dollar fridge getting fixed, if that ever happens, after only four months of use.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use

Until the parts go after a few years and your forced to lose $200 worth of food to wait for a week for them to replace the bad parts. Clearly this is an issue with these, as they come out free of charge, but it’s a massive inconvenience. Of the parts weren’t destined to fail this would be a 5 out of 5 product. Sadly someone approved low quality parts in a high end appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had to have this unit repaired under warranty 2 times. Thank goodness I purchased the extension. I do like the features and footprint the unit uses and it looks great in our remodeled kitchen. We do have many LG products in our home...

Our 1 1/2 year old LG refrigerator’s compressor died. Was verified by an LG appliance tech. Had to throw away contests. Not happy loosing food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the worst large appliance I have ever purchased, and is the LAST LG appliance I will ever purchase. It has failed two times in just a little over a year. The fan that distributes cold in the refrigerator keeps failing. I have lost food and have had to pay for repairs.

Compressor died after 3 years. Panel controlling ice and resetting the filters stopped working. All repaired now, but I have never had a refrigerator with any issues until this one.
