Wonderful Counter depth refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a few months ago and I am very happy with it. My space was very narrow and the counter depth, french door, design has really helped with space. My old house now looks as if was custom built. In addition, it is very quiet which is great.
Pros: Style/Design
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Noisy!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the refrigerator in December. The compressor had to be replaced in the first six months. The second compressor is now acting up and becoming very noisyas well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, good solid construction. Lighting within fridge is excellent. Like door-in-door feature as it saves energy not opening main compartment each time.
However when both fridge doors are opened, the thick doors due to door-in-door on right and ice-maker on left leave little room for an adult to get in front of the open fridge. This could be a problem when moving an item in or out.
There should be levelers on rear of unit as well, not just in front. Our unit is still not level with just front levelers. We will have to modify the floor in the rear to get it to stand straight. Causes doors to slam because its at an angle.
Would prefer just two fruit & veg bins rather than three. The middle one is so small its practically useless. Having only two increases ability to store bigger veggies and fruit (e.g. celery, melons) and would allow you access to one drawer with only one door opened.
Pros: Style/Design, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Noisy and Failing Fridge and LG refuses to repair
on October 4, 2018

Purchased this overpriced LG Studio refrigerator along with matching Studio gas range and dishwasher. Fridge is incredibly loud from the start and makes nearly constant buzzing that is audible throughout our downstairs. The fridge is only 7 months old and we've had LG service techs visit 3 times. After a call to LG's product experts, they are instructed not to repair or replace compressor each time. We've even spent money opening up our cabinets to provide additional rear ventilation based on the technician's advice (already met specifications previously apparently) but LG continues to refuse to repair the compressor or replace its defective product under warranty. The fridge's required ventilation specs are also unpublished. In my opinion, do not even consider this refrigerator or any LG fridge with a linear compressor unless you place it in the middle of an open room or perhaps live in Alaska based on the delicate compressor.

Door doesn't stay open

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] French Doors don't stay open when I am going in and out and putting food away. Also inside door always pops open when I am maneuvering food around. It is so frustrating. Ice/water always leaks down front. Wish I could return and get side by side.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 years and the compressor goes out 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. The repairman tells me that LG is known for that. Great product AFTER you replace the factory issued compressor.

Great refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this refrigerator for almost a year and its been super good with no problems other than a door that doesn't catch with more force than I think is needed. Otherwise is the best I've seen. Counter top depth units are hard to find and this one is the best on the market. As an interior designer/space planner I really appreciate the well organized storage and the extra features add to my satisfaction. Highly recommended.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

LG Fridge LSFXC2476S

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge about 10 months ago and my husband dislikes it. He even tried to return it after two weeks but the appliance place we purchased it from would not let us return it. The biggest issue is the ice and water dispenser. Water continues to dispense after you are done pushing on pedal. We have trained ourselves to wait a split second after you let off of the pedal to catch and water but guests and our small children do not do this so there is always water dripping down the front of the fridge. The ice dispenser does the same thing. I never use crush ice and it will sometimes crush my ice spitting it out everywhere when I push the pedal to get ice.
On a good note I do love the organization and storage provided in the fridge. I like the drawers, alarm system if you leave a door open and the beverage door for when you need to get something quick. It is counter depth so smaller than my previous fridge so I do have an additional fridge (very old one) for soda, water, etc. in my garage.
Esthetically, I would give this fridge a 5 star. It looks great and classy in my kitchen and doesn't stick out far.
