Very unreliable product, 1 out of 4 fail within 2 years for either compressor or fans. When it fails expect to be without a refrigerator for at least a month.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Switched from big box, 29 cu ft. to a counter depth due to kitchen remodel. Wanted a fridge that would look good in our new space and minimize the compromises. The overall dimensions were nice and the depth and door thickness, while not the best, were better than others. The LG studio looks really nice when it's clean. But this SS shows the smudges too easily and requires some frequent polishing. The usable space on the inside and the quality of the internal materials was the best we looked at. The fridge has been very quiet. Overall, we're happy with this counter depth. If I could change anything it would be more smudge resistant SS, separate touch pads for water, ice and crushed ice (a little irritating to have to toggle through the 3 settings to get to what you need) and having the door shelves a smidge deeper for larger jars.

I have this door in door refrigerator only it is a side by side. We bought this 2 1/2 years ago. Bought the extended warranty at Home Depot where we purchased it. Of course warranty is expired and the refrigerator stopped working 10 days ago. The compressor had to be replaced! I will never buy another LG appliance. No matter where I called nothing could be done. Luckily we have a home service contract but even though it cost us nothing I feel this is outrageous. Food was thrown out and for 10 days, because they had to find an authorized service person to break the seal to fix it, medication that should have been refrigerated wasnt!! Very pi**ed off customer!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do Not Buy LG! Compressor failed 3 times. 3rd time they refused to fix unless I paid for all the parts myself, despite it failing and being replaced twice prior. No lemon law here. Also have water leaking from the ice maker when you press ice button. Presidential support was rude, hung up on me, and did nothing. Do Not Buy LG!

Nice for counter depth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have downsized my home. I was told by new home agent that counter depth is what I should buy, so I did. I was not use to the size, that being said it has functioned perfectly for the last 9 months. I believe it will as i owned an LG that went with the sell of my last home and was on year 10 and NEVER a problesm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stainless steel looks great and is not hard to keep clean. Love the easy access door that opens on the front for often used items. The only disadvantages are the small size ice storage bin and the small bins for fruits and veggies. Celery will not fit. Small sizes probably due to being counter depth, but it fits much better in my space. Freezer holds more than I expected.
