[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator has had its compressor fail twice. Both times causing a loss of food and weeks of frustration trying to resolve the issue.

Do Not Purchase LG Appliances

We purchased an entire LG Studio set including this refrigerator and every piece (stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator) in the set has required at least one repair.
Refrigerator issues: * ice maker stopped working a couple of years after purchase * freezer is dying and only partially freezes contents
Dishwasher issues: * door springs broke two years after purchase * a tiny amount of soap on dishes results in the dishwasher malfunctioning requiring unmounting and manually drying sensor * top rack lining eroded and started rusting after three years
Microwave issues: * control panel broke after less than two years of ownership
Stove: * fan stopped working * heating mechanism failed and could not be replaced because LG stopped making the part
